The Republic's Wolves

Men emerged from the Great War feeling angry and betrayed, feeling they had no future, no chance, no choices. Robbed of their identity as soldiers they formed their own in private militias which the new Republic they hated ironically called upon to help save itself from its former allies on the far left.

This is the story of the Freikorps. The men who saved, then tried to seize, Weimar Germany, and played an important part in eventually dooming it to failure.
